My name is Andrew Downs |

I was born with two holes in my heart. I had my first operation at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children in 1967. |

I trained at Braintree college for one year as a chef and have worked in Colchester and Norwich before moving to Cambridgeshire and started to work at Papworth Hospital about 18 years ago and Progressed to second Chef second chef. In the last five years I have been working in the catering store where I help to set up all the on line ordering. |
