Hello as you can see my name is Sammy.

I was bought in November 2000 from a pet shop by Andrew & Claire and now live somewhere in Cambridgeshire. I cannot find out where as I am not allowed out of the house unless I am in my cage.

I think I am the second budgie to Andrew and Claire as they did not by me a new cage.

I have already had a holiday over Christmas 2000 were I met Peter the cockatiel.

Andrew's Grandma got confused as to which bird was which but when you are in your 90's I suppose you are allowed to get confused from time to time.

I do like to explore the living room and quite often try to knock over Andrew or Claire when they try to get me back in my cage by flying off as soon as they get me a few inches from the door.

The other day Andrew was getting ready for work and I was sitting n the Curtin pole and refused to back into my cage.

Andrew had to leave me out all day and when Claire got home from work I was persuaded to go back into my cage and was shut in for the rest of the day.

I am never very happy when I  shut in my cage as I like to have a good fly.
